M. Dean Kinsey, MD
Dr. Kinsey, one of Insight's Senior Vice Presidents, specializes in physician and hospital relationships in academic and non-academic environments. He has more than 30 years of experience in consulting, academic medicine and physician practice management. Dr. Kinsey’s experience gives academic health systems and faculty physicians the assistance they need to define and optimize the flow of funds, which is critically important to the financial health of both hospitals and physicians.
Dr. Kinsey's areas of concentration include:

- Physician Practice Management/Physician Compensation Plans
- Funds Flow/Faculty Practice
Dr. Kinsey's experience includes serving as Vice Dean for Clinical Programs, interim VPMA/CMO and interim CEO. He practiced medicine for 15 years and then moved into hospital leadership positions. He earned his BS from Bucknell University, an MBA from University of Florida, and an MD from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
