Mary Carpenter
Mary Carpenter is a seasoned professional who has more than 20 years of experience. She has worked in all aspects of revenue cycle operations for hospitals and health systems. Ms. Carpenter has successfully led turn-around teams while serving in interim management roles (specifically interim Revenue Cycle Executive), and has provided management leadership and oversight to revenue cycle projects for health systems, academic medical centers and community based hospitals. Ms. Carpenter has worked in a variety of provider settings including acute and long-term care, and provides oversight on Insight’s revenue cycle engagements. She specializes in the performance and implementation support of:
- Revenue cycle assessment and improvement
- Process improvement
- Project management and operational analyses
She also specializes in the management of:
- Clinical Documentation Improvement
- Charge Compliance
Ms. Carpenter earned a BA in Healthcare Administration from De Paul University. She specializes in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from The Harrington Institute.
