Linda Kenwood, RN

Linda Kenwood is a senior executive with more than 30 years' experience in clinical, patient care, and operations management. She has a background in maternal and pediatric nursing, and has worked in academic medical centers and community hospitals as a chief nurse executive (CNE), interim CNE and consultant. 

As an integral member of the Insight team, Ms. Kenwood leverages her experience and expertise to assist organizations to take the necessary steps to ensure an excellent patient care experience, a safe and productive environment for patients and for employees, reasonable costs of care and a high level of accountability to sustain improvements and maintain operational momentum.

Ms. Kenwood specializes in these functional areas:

• Quality and risk assessments
• Clinical and patient care operations improvement
• Labor productivity and staffing for clinical and patient care
• Patient care work processes

Prior to consulting, Ms. Kenwood served in positions of progressive responsibility in academic medical centers, children's hospitals and health systems, and has also served as clinical consultant on medical/legal cases. She received a BSN from the University of Pittsburgh and an MSN from University of Illinois with a minor in labor relations.
