Edward McCarthy
Ed McCarthy is an accomplished healthcare executive who leads many of Insight's complex consulting engagements. With more than 30 years' experience, he is an adept project director for performance improvement engagements in academic medical centers and health systems. McCarthy is objective and strives to understand the root cause of issues in order to treat the problem and not the symptom. He helps organizations to make the tough decisions when they are needed following the careful and systematic review of data to ensure any decision made is practical and will best position the organization to reach its goals.

Prior to consulting, Mr. McCarthy held leadership positions in non-profit and for-profit health systems, in both single and multi-hospital organizations. He received his BA from Kings College and MA from Pennsylvania State University.
